Yes, we know… our first choice is practically across the street and we are lucky … Lakeside Park has amazing views of Chautauqua Lake! The gazebo is the perfect outdoor space to make your vows to one another or hold your ceremony right on the shoreline of the lake. Either way you will capture a truly picturesque backdrop in your wedding photos. There is plenty of parking and public restrooms as well — which makes Mayville’s Lakeside Park our most recommended outdoor venue for Wedding ceremonies.
Luensman Overview Park
Located down the road in Portland, NY, Luensman Overview Park is a 70-acre overlook on a glacial ridge. From there, your guests will have an incredible view of Lake Erie — and if the sky is clear enough, you can even see the Canadian shore! There are picnic tables and a pavilion … and, in the fall — the foliage looks like a dream come true!
Barcelona Harbor Beach
A beach? In the fall? Yes, we know what you’re thinking… but it’s not like we’re suggesting a chilly plunge in the waters of Lake Erie! Barcelona Harbor Beach is a beautiful getaway and in autumn, the shoreline is speckled with the glorious colors of the season — beautiful warm tones of red, orange and yellow that would provide a stunning contrast to the average summer beach photos.

You knew it was going to make the list, didn’t you?!?! We are experienced wedding hosts and our friendly staff is dedicated to making your day special. Rain or shine, your ceremony on our fully customizable, covered patio will provide a comfortable and convenient location for your guests to enjoy your wedding celebration.
From start to finish, we handle all the details, including set-up and tear down. Additionally, there are clean, full-service restrooms located inside the restaurant and plenty of parking. If you want to take some of the worry away from this magical day, we invite you to take a tour of our banquet rooms and covered patio.
The Overland Trail
If you are a nature-loving-adventurous type, you will absolutely fall in love with the lean-tos on the Overland Trails. There are two trails to choose from: the Fred J. Cusimano Westside Overland Trail, which runs from Sherman to Panama and the Earl Cardot Eastside Overland Trail, which runs from Arkwright through Cherry Creek, ending in Gerry. Both trails offer an opportunity to immerse yourselves in the fall foliage and the lean-to camping sites offer a truly unique wedding experience.
